On April 29, OSE was awarded the “2024 Family-Friendly Workplace Award” at the Labor Day Recognition Ceremony organized by the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs. HR Manager Marvis Cheng attended the event on behalf of the company to receive the award. This recognition reflects OSE’s achievements in creating a supportive workplace, prioritizing employee well-being, and fostering integration between work and family life.
The “Family-Friendly Workplace Award” is granted by the Bureau of Industrial Parks based on four key criteria: flexible work arrangements, family-friendly policies, employee care, and a supportive work environment. The award aims to encourage companies to implement gender equality, flexible working hours, and family-friendly policies, contributing to the creation of a happy workplace.
OSE is dedicated to creating a work environment that promotes both happiness and accomplishment, offering inclusive measures for employee care, career development, and family support. We provide free health counseling, wellness programs, and support systems for new hires and pregnant employees. Additionally, we offer job redesign and one-on-one training for employees with disabilities and older workers to improve satisfaction and retention.
OSE also invests in infrastructure that supports diverse needs, including accessible facilities, nursing rooms, maternity-friendly parking, recreational areas, and art spaces. Enhanced leave policies—such as paid family wedding leave—along with regular events like Family Day, beach cleanups, and parent-child gatherings, help strengthen family bonds and promote a sense of belonging.
