Reading × Nature × Family Craft — Creating a Heartwarming Green Movement for Arbor Day
This year, OSE celebrated Arbor Day by bringing sustainability closer to everyday life. Moving beyond traditional frameworks, we gathered at the historic Hecun Military Dependents’ Village in Zuoying, Kaohsiung. Through soothing green crafts, we integrated eco-consciousness into the rhythm of urban living.
On March 7 and March 15, OSE hosted four exclusive workshops in collaboration with Cultural Hidden Room, featuring seasonal picture-book storytelling, leaf rubbing, and kokedama DIY. These events attracted 91 employees and their families, achieving a 100% satisfaction rate. Through these hands-on activities, participants not only experienced the healing power of nature but also developed a deeper commitment to environmental protection. As a locally rooted company, OSE is proud to support Kaohsiung’s signature cultural event, the “2026 GO Read! TAKAO Audiovisual Festival.“

The TAKAO Audiovisual Festival seamlessly integrates literary reading, independent publishing, visual arts, and live music to create a diverse urban cultural experience while championing low-impact sustainability. Throughout the event, the focus remained on reducing single-use materials and promoting cultural education—ensuring that reading is not just an accumulation of knowledge, but a bridge connecting people, the environment, and the community.
