The art competition “Youth Artistic Power”held by Youth Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government was the collaboration across different fields. The activity aimed to provide opportunities for young artists to promote their arts, crafts and creativity while connected to the ESG spirit, enterprise resources and sustainable development.

OSE also participated in this meaningful activity,, we collected and provided the electronics waste materials of our manufacturing process to young artists for their arts creation. Artist Miss Chen Sheng Hsuan had manufactured the exquisite creation named “The Silent Sound of Nature” which is the combination of our electronics waste, ESG spirit with reflection on society and environmental issues. “The Silent Sound of Nature” also won the golden award among all the crafts of the competition.

Being as the first craft and the first art creation related to sustainability of OSE. We had host an unveiling ceremony on April 17, invited the artist, OSE ESG Committee team members and our colleagues to celebrate the joy of this art collection and celebrate the World Earth Day as well.

During the day, the craft was jointly unveiled by our Chairman, Tony Tung, Chairman of OSE ESG Committee as well and artist Miss Chen Sheng Hsuan. Miss Chen also shared the concept and inspiration of this craft as well as the link to her life experience while Chairman and Vice President Crystal Lai, Management Representative of ESG Committee both delivered a brief talk expressed their positive expectation and support in art creation, ESG implementation, and sustainability. The ceremony ended happily with group photos of all participants and the interaction with artist.

OSE would continuously support arts and culture development as well as the promotion and implementation of ESG. We also expect that we’d be able to collect and share more artworks in the future.
